VoltToday shows live day-ahead electricity spot prices across 30 European countries and their bidding zones. The goal is simple: make it obvious when power is cheap, so you can plan around it.
All prices come from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform — the official data source of Europe’s transmission system operators. Day-ahead prices are set once a day in an auction and published for every hour of the next day, usually around 13:00 CET. We fetch them directly and show them unchanged.
These are wholesale market prices, not your final bill. Grid fees, taxes, VAT and your supplier’s margin are not included. The data is most useful if you are on a dynamic or spot-linked tariff — on a fixed tariff your price does not change from hour to hour.
VoltToday is free and keeps no prices behind a paywall. It runs on a small server that costs real money every month. If it helps you save on electricity, a small contribution keeps it running.
